Vijay Sir Appreciated My Performance In Sarkar: Actress Vaishali Thaniga Cinema News
Vaishali Thaniga, who is a part of a few much-expected movies, says that the big screen is her priority now. The actress, who started her career with films, also worked in the TV industry. However, she feels it is good to get recognised by a larger section of the audience. She tells us, “I am part of Sarkar, Seema Raja, Yung Mung Sung and Ranga. I am also waiting for Kolaigaran to go on floors. Though I appeared in Bairavaa in a brief role, I didn’t share screen space with Vijay sir, but I’m happy that I could do it in Sarkar. I have essayed a small scene in Sarkar, in which I have a speaking role. Working with Vijay sir was a nice experience — I was super excited and he was very polite. He appreciated me once the scene was completed.”
Vaishali, who plays the friend of Samantha and Lakshmi Menon in Seema Raja and Yung Mung Sung respectively, essays the role of Sibiraj’s sister in Ranga. “I have come to realise that some film crews do not prefer artistes who are into TV serials, though I still don’t know the reason behind it. So, I have decided to concentrate more on movies now. But that doesn’t mean I’m averse to serials,” she adds.
